The Crimson Gift

A crimson thread weaves throughout the Bible, beginning in Genesis and continuing all the way to Revelation. It starts subtly with Adam and Eve, is expanded upon in the books of Moses, lingers behind the scenes throughout the rest of the Old Testament, and is fully revealed through Jesus on the cross. This is the Crimson Gift: the blood of Jesus. Leviticus 17:11 tells us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. By studying and fully comprehending what physical blood does within our bodies, we can better appreciate what the spiritual blood of Jesus has done, is currently doing, and will continue to do for us. Come explore this precious Crimson Gift with me.

Our Founders Wisdom

The Founding Fathers of our nation knew they could not rely on mankind to always do what is right. Recognizing the shortcomings in each other-the changeable nature of humanity, and the tendency toward pride, greed, anger, and mob mentality-they sought a less volatile, more consistent, and solid foundation. They chose to look to God and the Bible for national guidance. Though they had their differences, they generally respected the scriptures, believing them to be the ultimate source of truth about God and His creation. Was their choice true Wisdom?
